Thus Energis aims to enhance safety and economy of the nuclear power plants and to promote public acceptance. Energis is founded in April 1993 as a subsidiary company of Mitsubishi Heavy lndustries, Ltd.(MHI) with a capital of 30 million-yen. Head office is located in MHI Kobe Shipyard & Machinery Works and Tokyo Branch is located adjacent to the Nuclear Energy Systems Headquarters in MHI head office.
